Many businesses find themselves in the situation where they have to Revive their corporation.

Perhaps you were not using your corporation and you did not keep up with the Corporate Annual Return filings and the Corporation was Struck off the Government Registry. However, if there were still assets or liabilities in that corporation you may find yourself needing to Revive the corporation to complete the final accounting or legal filings to correctly close the Corporation.

Other times, entrepreneurs have an inactive and Struck company that they would like to Revive instead of starting a brand new corporation.

Reviving is a relatively simple process. We will need to file all the outstanding Corporate Annual Returns as well as file Articles of Revival.

Since this process is very specific to each Corporation that needs to be revived, we have not created online forms for Revivals. Please give us a call to discuss your particular Revival.

***In Alberta, we cannot Revive a Corporation that has been Struck for more than 5 years.***
